How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatments will vary for each person depending on the type and severity of the condition. For acute problems of a simple nature, only a few treatments may be required. For long-standing or complex problems, one treatment per week for a few weeks followed by a few monthly treatments may be recommended. For health maintenance visits, only 3-4 visits a year may be necessary.
The treatment plan will be determined after reviewing your history and performing a physical examination and evaluating your individual situation. Your treatment plan will be discussed with you at the time of your initial consultation. As your treatments progress and depending on your response to your acupuncture treatments your treatment plan will be adjusted accordingly.
